TOMS RIVER – Townships all throughout Ocean County hosted their own National Night Out celebrations this week in honor of local law enforcement and first responders.
One local police officer took to the dance floor to celebrate with his community.
Officer Michael Cassidy of the Toms River Police Department was caught on video showing off his dance moves to the Cupid Shuffle with some kids from the community.
The Toms River Police Department participated in the 2019 National Night Out on August 6.
“During the event we had K-9 and Motorcycle Unit demonstrations, ESU, Fire and First Aid displays, bounce houses, face-painting, music and food,” stated Jillian Messina of the Toms River Police Department. “A great time was had by all who attended.”
