TOMS RIVER – Police continue to probe a morning crash that sent a township resident to the hospital with minor injuries.
The accident occured at the intersection of Whitesville Road and Sunset Avenue around 9 a.m., November 29th, according to the Toms River Police Department.
34-year-old Andreana Baruk was struck by 30-year-old Hui Jiang of Philadelphia as Jiang attempted a left-hand turn from Whitesville to Sunset. Baruk was heading north when they collided.
Following the crash, Baruk’s vehicle ended up veering off the road and into a tree.
Her injuries from the accident are being treated at the local hospital and Jiang has been issued a summons for failing to stop or yield, according to Traffic Safety Officer David Bartoshek, the investigating officer of this incident.
