CLARK – A Toms River woman remains in serious condition after a crash on the Garden State Parkway earlier in the week, police said.
Nicholle May, 34, of Toms River, was driving south on the Parkway at around 8:15 p.m. on June 22 when she lost control of her vehicle and left the roadway, police said. Her Mercedes struck an overpass for the Westfield Avenue Bridge.
Local fire departments extricated her from the car and she was flown to University Hospital in Newark. Police said on June 25 that she remains in serious condition.
The crash is still being investigated.
