TOMS RIVER – Police and fire responded to a structure fire at a Toms River residence this afternoon at approximately 3 p.m. All of the residents were safely evacuated and no injuries have been reported, police said.
The fire occurred at a residence at 138 Joanna Drive. Police observed flames and dark smoke coming from the garage. The fire was soon extinguished without incident, police stated.
No word yet on the cause of the fire.
