TOMS RIVER – The Township Council meeting originally scheduled for July 24 has been rescheduled for August 7 at 3:30 p.m.
The agenda isn’t online yet but the public meeting notice states “The agenda shall include a consent agenda consisting of various purchases and other routine items of public business.”
Council meetings are usually held at 7 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of every month. This marks a departure in that it will be in the afternoon, at 3:30 p.m. The council had also recently held a special meeting on July 15 that took place in the afternoon as well.
Meetings are held upstairs at town hall located at 33 Washington Street.
