TOMS RIVER – Two search warrants were issued at the Americana Motel on Route 166, resulting in the arrest of ten people, police said.
The Toms River Police Department’s Special Enforcement Team, and the Townships Quality of Life Task Force, executed the warrants on Nov. 22, police said. One of the warrants was for the manager’s office. The rest of the building was also given a fire inspection by the Bureau of Fire Prevention, which found the motel to be in violation of several fire codes.
Ten people were arrested for warrants and offenses. The offenses were either possession of drugs or distribution.
