TOMS RIVER – Join in for a free night of family fun with a special guest appearance from Work In Progress! The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office is hosting “Opportunity Rocks,” a free youth resource fair, on June 1, 5-9 p.m., at the RWJ Barnabas Health Arena.
This free event will feature over 50 vendors displaying programs, services and activities available to youth and families in Ocean County.
Even more, the band Work In Progress will make a special guest appearance! Work In Progress features local actor Gaten Matarazzo, who hails from Little Egg Harbor and stars in the hit Netflix series Stranger Things. He will be joined his older sister Sabrina on vocals, his younger brother Carmen on drums, Matt Grayson on bass guitar, Griffin Schriever on lead guitar and Chad Miller on rhythm guitar.
“This free event is designed to highlight all the resources we have here in Ocean County to help guide children and families” Prosecutor Billhimer said. “We are thrilled that ‘Work in Progress’ is available and willing to assist us in raising awareness of the many services available to the kids and their families in Ocean County. I really hope parents take the time to stop by on Saturday, June 1, 2019. Bring the whole family, it’s going to be a great evening,” said Prosecutor Billhimer.
