TOMS RIVER – Two men were arrested on Hospital Drive during an apparent drug deal, police said.
David Jannarone, age 49, of Toms River and Paul T. Kulberda, age 37, of Ocean Gate were observed “in suspicious activity indicative of an illegal drug sale,” according to a press release from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office.
Detectives from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force were conducting a street level drug suppression detail when they encountered the men. Adderall and Suboxone were seized during the arrests.
Jannarone was charged with drug distribution and possession charges. Kulberda was charged with possession of a drug (Adderall).
The suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
