TOMS RIVER – Two local businesses were lauded by the Township Council and the Toms River Green Team at a recent council meeting.
Stephanie Baumgartner, chair of the Green Team, gave two awards for their work in Riverwood Park. Toms River Tree Service helped clear land for the community garden and Carl’s Fencing put up 8-foot, deer-resistant fencing.
Mayor Thomas Kelaher thanked them for their efforts, and also swore in East Dover Elementary fourth grader Hannalura Baumgartner as a member of the Green Team.
