TOMS RIVER – No one was injured when a fire ripped through a garage in a township home on Sunday night.
Toms River Police Department spokesperson Jillian Messina confirmed in an email to Jersey Shore Online that a blaze broke out around 8 p.m in the garage at 503 River Terrace.
Several police and fire units responded to the scene.
The cause is unknown at this point but a full investigation is now underway.
The Toms River Bureau of Fire Prevention is part of the investigative team.
