TOMS RIVER – Family and friends will gather for funeral services for the two young men who died in a tragic car crash over the weekend.
Daniel V. Foley, 23, and Braden De Martin, 22, both of Toms River, died on Nov. 10 when they lost control of their sports car, which left the roadway and crashed into the second floor of a building.
According to the obituary, a viewing for Foley will be held on Friday, Nov. 15 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 995 Fischer Blvd., Toms River. The Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Justin’s Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, Nov. 16 at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be private.
The family has stated that Foley would rather you donate to WoundedWarriorProject.org in lieu of flowers.
According to De Martin’s obituary, a visitation will be held on Thursday, Nov. 14 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, Nov. 15 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Justin’s Church, 975 Fisher Blvd., Toms River. In lieu of flowers family is requesting donations to the Boy Scouts of America, Irving, Texas, and the Brick Animal Shelter, and/or Toms River High School East/ASR Program.

The two men graduated from Toms River High School East, and were active in the community, according to their obituaries.
Foley worked for the Brick Municipal Utilities Authority. He was known for his compassion, helpfulness, and for being a role model.
De Martin, who had been an Eagle Scout with Troop 165, worked as a lifeguard for Toms River Fitness and the Toms River Country Club. He was a recent graduate from Rowan University with a degree in bioinformatics.
