TOMS RIVER – Township police and the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office are probing an incident that took place on July 4th that sent one victim to the hospital with serious injuries.
Toms River Township Police Spokesperson Jillian Messina said police units were called to Hazelwood Road in Toms River around 9:30 p.m. for a reported injured person.
The initial investigation revealed there was an altercation in the street and one victim was flown to Jersey Shore Medical University for serious injuries.
The investigation is on-going at this time.
