The incident, which occurred on Nov. 16 at the Shoprite in Manahawkin, spurred an investigation of the theft of over $1,200 items from the store.

A Facebook post was made on Nov. 21 requesting the identities of the two women whose photos had been captured in the store. The post asked that any information be sent to the email of Patrolman Allen Jillson, the lead investigator and arresting officer on the case.

After being charged with shoplifting and conspiracy to shoplift, both Locke and McCall have been processed and released, agreeing to a future court appearance.
