Her foot was still on the accelerator as her SUV rolled into the southbound lane, drove into some shrubs and bushes, and then crashed into the southeast corner of Calloway’s.

A 91-year-old Tuckerton man was traveling in the front seat of the SUV and was flown to Atlanticare Medical Center with several injuries, but died while in route to the hospital.

A back seat passenger, a 44-year-old woman from Tuckerton, was partly ejected from the backseat through the windshield and was transported to the hospital with shoulder and head injuries. She is in stable condition at this time.

The backseat driver’s side passenger, a 15-year-old male, suffered possible broken ribs and internal injuries and was flown to Jersey Shore Medical Center. He is also in stable condition, according to Della Fave.
