BURLINGTON COUNTY – A teenager from Tuckerton and a 92-year old man were the victims of a fatal car crash that occurred on Route 72 over the weekend.
On Sunday at around 2 p.m., New Jersey State Police responded to the area near mile marker 2.8 on Route 72 for reports of a crash.
According to police, 18-year old Zachary Janda was traveling east on Route 72 in a Dodge Caravan when the left front of his vehicle struck the left front of a Mercury Grand Marquis that was heading west. Driving the Mercury was a 92-year old Hamilton man. The identity of the man has not yet been confirmed pending notification of family members, police said
