
STAFFORD – Township firefighters responded around 6:48 p.m. to a residence fully engulfed in flames on March 27.
Township police and fire units responded to 108 Clyde Lane in the Village Harbor section of Manahawkin for a reported structural fire.
Firefighters discovered the house whose occupants had safely evacuated along with neighbors nearby. Clyde and Jeremy Lanes were closed for several hours as a result of the fire which Stafford Fire Company, EMS and area agencies responded to.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by members of the Ocean County Fire Marshal’s Office and the Stafford Township Bureau of Fire Prevention.
