LONG BEACH TOWNSHIP – The owner of an LBI real estate company was arrested on charges of theft, among others.
Long Beach Township Police said they arrested Ager Realty owner Donald Pojednic on charges of misapplication of entrusted property and property of government or financial institutions and theft. He was arrested Nov. 30.
Police allege Pojednic has since November 2015 transferred more than $100,000 from the realty’s escrow account into the company’s checking account. He allegedly then used that money to pay for business and personal expenses.
The escrow account contained money belonging to homeowners and tenants.
Pojednic was released pending a future court hearing.
Anyone who has not received money belonging to them from Ager Realty–security deposits, rent checks, etc.–from 2013 to today should contact the Long Beach Township Police Department Detective Bureau 609-361-2050.
