STAFFORD – Remember the recent spate of burglaries in Southern Ocean County? Police believe they have the very busy man responsible.
Stafford Township Police confirmed Alfred J. Oliveri was arrested and charged after a thorough investigation.
Stafford Township Police Captain James Vaughn told Jersey Shore Online earlier in the week that the burglar broke into the Mama Maria’s Pizzeria on Route 9 last Sunday night before heading over to 25 South Main Street, breaking into four businesses. Police said he struck at the Jersey Mikes, Asian Gourmet, Andy’s Pizzeria and an abandoned store front.
Police believe he’s also responsible for three commercial burglaries in Little Egg Harbor.
Oliveri is currently lodged in Ocean County Jail.
