LONG BEACH TOWNSHIP – A Lanoka Harbor woman was charged with theft after breaking into two vehicles and trying to break into a vacant house in the Brant Beach section of Long Beach Township last week.
On June 24, Long Beach Township Police responded to a report of an unwanted person in a home in Brant Beach. A preliminary investigation discovered that Christina E. Krampetz of Lanoka Harbor had broken into and stole from two motor vehicles and attempted to gain access to a vacant residence. Each of these incidents occurred at different locations in Brant Beach.
Police later found Krampetz in possession of multiple narcotics and stolen items. She was placed in custody and charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of theft, receiving stolen property, criminal trespass, theft of a credit card, two counts of conspiracy, three counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
She was processed and released with a future court date.
Long Beach Township Police are urging residents and visitors of Brant Beach to check their residences and/or vehicles for any missing items.
