TOMS RIVER – A Waretown man has been arrested for possessing child pornography, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said.
Sean Luttrell, 44, was charged with possession March 21. He surrendered to authorities March 21 and was taken to Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing.
On March 12, Luttrell was charged with possession of more than fifty grams of marijuana with the intent to distribute and possession of more than fifty grams of marijuana. Sandra Luttrell, 44, was charged the same and released on a summons.
Sean Luttrell’s computer was seized during a search sparked by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. It was during the search that detectives found marijuana: additional items infused with THC, THC suppositories, over 50 grams of marijuana, a scale, a food processor used to grind marijuana and packaging materials.
The prosecutor’s office said computers, digital items, narcotics, 11 assorted firearms and $2,653 in cash were seized.
A later forensic examination revealed Luttrell had searched for and viewed child pornography.
