LAKE TAHOE – A local man went missing Nov. 13 while on a visit to Incline Village near Lake Tahoe.
Manahawkin resident Richard Cambria, 59, was last seen on video checking out of the Nugget Hotel and Casino in Sparks, Nevada that morning.
His 2014 metallic silver BMW X5 with New Jersey tags was seen parked legally on Route 431 near the Tahoe Meadows trail head, family member Nancy Cambria said in a Facebook post on a page the family created.
The car was parked there until Nov. 25, when it was towed because it was in the way of snow plows. That’s when the family learned Richard Cambria was missing.
Richard Cambria was a long road trip. He had visited Incline Village in August, where he stayed at the Hyatt in town. He had driven to Sparks on Nov. 12 from Santa Barbara, California, where he had been staying a month.
“His charged cell phone was found in the car turned off along with his luggage and most of his belongings. The car key was missing,” Nancy Cambria wrote.
He is 5’9” and weighs around 150 pounds. He has brown eyes and is partially bald with brown hair. He on occasion wears gold-rimmed glasses.
Anyone with information is asked to message the family.
