STAFFORD – A local store sold one of the third-tier winning MegaMillions tickets worth $10,000, according to the New Jersey Lottery.

The store was McKinley Convenience Store, 100 McKinley Ave., Manahawkin. The drawing was Tuesday and earned the lucky winner $10,000. There was a similar winner sold in Hackensack. The tickets matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball.

The grand prize wasn’t sold, which means the jackpot rolled up to $22 million. The next drawing will be held Friday, August 7, at 11 p.m. Tickets must be bought before 10:45 to participate.
