WARETOWN – A fundraiser for the Lacey Food Bank is coming up in the form of a Labor Day Luau from noon to 4 p.m. on September 5 at Breakers Kitchen and Tap at 535 Route 9 in Waretown.
That event will include a limbo contest, a hula hoop contest, and a DJ who will play some classic oldies and luau music. The event will feature car hop service, prizes and giveaways. Car clubs are invited to the event as well as car and truck owners.
Non-perishable food items are being collected for the Lacey Food Bank at this event.
Donations are also being collected for Oceans of Love and the John K. Mills Memorial Scholarship and the event is being sponsored by Pine Belt Chevrolet, United Healthcare.
