STAFFORD – The community is rallying to help a 2-year-old boy who was hurt by a lawnmower in an accident at home.
Memphis Rank was hurt in an accident on April 19. He was hospitalized at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Many surgeries and therapies are in his near future, family said online.
Barnegat restaurant Big Barlow’s BBQ & Catering will be donating 20 percent of its sales on May 2 from noon until 8 p.m. to the family. There will also be an auction. One item that’s being auctioned is a custom Adirondack chair by Nautical Wood Creations. All of the money raised by the auction will go to the family.
Stafford restaurant Ray’s New York Pizza will donate 25 percent of its sales on May 9 from 10 a.m. through 11 p.m.
Donations will be accepted by mail at Memphis Rank C/O, TD Bank, 571 East Bay Ave., Manahawkin, NJ 08050. Donations will also be accepted through Venmo for Memphis Rank through @MemphisStrong.
