LACEY – Motorists wishing to travel the Garden State Parkway northbound near exit 74 should make other plans.
Lacey Township Police issued an update around 12:30 p.m.
“Following a serious motor vehicle accident, Lacey Road was temporarily closed in the area of the Garden State Parkway. The roadway has since been reopened, however, motorists are still being asked to avoid the area if possible, and should take any necessary actions to avoid that area until further notice,” police said.
The crash forced all northbound lanes closed at that exit, authorities said.
