LITTLE EGG HARBOR – Police are investigating an incident involving a 7-year-old child being bit on the face by a dog.
At 6:43 p.m. on August 3, the Little Egg Harbor Twp. Police responded to Falcon Dr. about a boy suffering a dog bite in the face and bleeding. First aid was provided by officers and the child was then brought to the Southern Ocean County Medical Center by ambulance.
He was then transported by helicopter to the Jersey Shore Medical Center due to the extent of his injuries. The boy is currently in stable condition, police said.
At this time, the incident is under investigation by the Little Egg Harbor Twp. Police Detective Bureau.
