TOMS RIVER – Township police reported that a 13-year-old student brought a knife into a classroom.
Police arrested the boy at Toms River Intermediate East on April 28. According to Toms River police spokesperson Jillian Messina there was no threat to students or staff during the incident.
He was charged with a summons and released to a guardian. Due to his status as a minor no further information could be released on that matter according to Messina.
