LAKEWOOD – This morning a serious car accident involving a Jay’s School Bus holding about 15 children occurred on Forrest and 11th Ave in Lakewood.
The incident caused the bus to hit several cars and landed on top of one, overturning it. Allegedly, the bus driver tried to cut off a car making a left turn and lost control of the bus, The Lakewood Scoop reported.
According to Board Members, none of the children on the bus had serious injuries from the accident and are with their parents.
At this time, multiple emergency personnel are at the scene and it is unknown whether anyone else is injured.
