OCEAN COUNTY – The Ocean County Library’s eighth annual Prom Dress Giveaway is happening throughout the month of April at local library branches.

The dresses will be available from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on April 25 and 26 at the Barnegat branch, and from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on April 28 and 29 at the Manchester branch.

As part of the event, middle school and high school students have access to gently used prom dresses at no cost. Thanks to the many local donations, teens are able to try on different dresses at any of the distribution sites.

The program is free and open to the public, but registration is requested. To register, visit theoceancountylibrary.org or call your local library branch.
