SHIP BOTTOM – The alleged Wawa pervert has a name, a mug shot and a favorite spot.
Ship Bottom Police revealed the identity of the man wanted for committing a lewd act in his car in front of Wawa June 17 is John B. Roach, 58, of Browns Mills.
It was unclear why Roach traveled so far to commit his “lewd act,” as there is a newly renovated Wawa in the heart of Browns Mills.
Anyway, by the time police arrived, the Roach had left. Police got a description of the man and his vehicle, and found him inside another borough store.
Roach was arrested and charged with two counts of lewdness.
Police said he was wanted for a previous incident at the same location last August.
Roach “never physically approached, touched, or assaulted anyone on either occasion and the victims never physically confronted the suspect,” police said.
