BRICK – A massage therapist working at a township spa is in trouble with the law again after having been charged with a second sexual assault of a female client at his place of work.
Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said 28-year-old Jonathan Higgins of Toms River, has been charged after another woman came forward with claims of sexual assault.
Higgins was previously charged on June 27 with the sexual assault of another one of his clients. He was employed at Hand and Stone Massage & Facial Spa in Brick. The assault allegedly occurred on June 25. He is accused of sexually assaulting the female patron by penetrating her during a massage session.
Billhimer alleges that Higgins, committed an act of penetration on another female customer during the course of a massage on May 21. The finding comes from a continuing investigation by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Brick Township Police Department.
Higgins was arrested and processed at Brick Township Police Headquarters. Higgins and was transported to the Ocean County Jail where he is lodged pending a detention hearing.
