LAKEWOOD – An Ocean County man been sentenced to 30 years in prison for asking an underaged girl for images of child pornography, officials said.
Samuel Schwinger, 38, Lakewood, previously pleaded guilty to information charging him with one count of sexual exploitation of a minor.
In March 2019, Schwinger used an app to contact an underaged girl and asked her to make sexually explicit videos to send him.
According to officials, Schwinger communicated with more than 25 minor victims between October 2018 through April 5, 2019, for the purpose of producing and distributing sexually explicit material.
In addition to the prison term, the judge sentenced Schwinger to 10 years of supervised release and ordered that he register as a sexual offender upon release.
