Ocean County Authorities Make Drug Arrests, One Suspect A “Fugitive”

OCEAN COUNTY – Search warrants resulted in arrests for crack cocaine and weapons charges, but police are still locating one of the suspects.

The arrests came as part of a multi-department investigation into the distribution of crack in the northern Ocean County area.

At 6 a.m. this morning, police executed three search warrants in Jackson, leading to the arrest of:

  • Erasmo Sandro Morales, 34, 284 Clearstream Drive, Jackson – two counts of each of the following charges: Distribution of Cocaine over One Half Ounce, Possession of Cocaine over one half ounce with the Intent to Distribute, and Possession of Cocaine; and one count of the following charges: Possession of a Weapon, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine under one half ounce, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Morales was subsequently housed in the Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing.
  • Nicole Fischetti, 21, 284 Clearstream Drive, Jackson – charged with Possession of Cocaine under one half ounce with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of a weapon and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Fischetti was detained at the Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing.
  • Joseph Smith, 34, 199 White Road, Jackson – charged with Possession of CDS (Xanax) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Smith was released on a summons pending a future court date.
  • Veronica Noll, 35, 199 White Road, Jackson – charged with Possession of CDS (Xanax) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Noll was released on a summons pending a future court date.

A fifth suspect, Wilbert Casiano, 47, 75 Erica Road, Lakewood, was charged with Distribution of Cocaine over one half ounce, Possession of Cocaine over one half ounce with Intent to Distribute and Possession of Cocaine.

However, police said Casiano is currently a fugitive. If anyone has any information about his whereabouts please contact the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office, Special Operations Group at 732-341-6150.

The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office’s Special Operations Group, Northern Enforcement Unit, worked with the Jackson Township Police Department and the Lakewood Township Police Department, Street Crimes Unit, the Ocean County Regional SWAT Team and the Ocean County Sherriff’s Department K-9 Unit in an investigation into the distribution of crack in the county.

The officers searched 284 Clearstream Dr., 199 White Road, and a Nissan Altima used by Morales. Police said they seized approximately 2.5 ounces of crack, drug paraphernalia associated with the distribution of CDS, a stun gun, brass knuckles, approximately $6,000 in cash and the Nissan Altima.
