OCEAN COUNTY – With less than 12 weeks until Memorial Day Weekend kicks off the summer season, local boardwalk employers are now seeking new hires for this year.
On March 12 and 13, Casino Pier and Breakwater Beach in Seaside Heights and Jenkinson’s Boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach will both be hosting job fairs and are looking to fill over 400 positions.
“Ocean County’s summer tourism industry brings a lot of business to the area, including thousands of summer jobs,” Ocean County Commissioner Joseph H. Vicari said, who serves as the liaison to the Ocean County Division of Business Development and Tourism. “These jobs are a great opportunity for our local residents, from teenagers, and college students to our seniors and summer visitors, to earn money and help build our economy.”
The Casino Pier and Breakwater Beach job fair will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on March 12 at the Casino Pier Arcade, 800 Ocean Terrace, Seaside Heights. Available job positions include the arcade/gamer, amusement park, waterpark, food, marketing, security and maintenance. The Jenkinson Boardwalk job fair will be from 12 to 3 p.m. on March 13 at the Boardwalk Bar and Grill, 401 Boardwalk, Point Pleasant Beach. Job positions that are available include game operator, ropes course facilitator, ride operator, gift shop and candy store associates, food and beverage, concessions, grounds attendant, arcade attendant, busser, beach gate attendant, beach attendant and security.
