OCEAN COUNTY – Nursing homes, assisted living facilities and similar sites offering long-term care are in critical need of personal protective equipment during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Health care workers need to be taken care of, if they are to remain healthy enough to take care of your loved ones.
The following items are needed:
- Surgical masks
- N95 face masks
- surgical gowns
- medical face shields
- nitrile exam gloves
- alcohol-based hand sanitizer
It is preferred for the items to be in unopened boxes, but partial boxes and individual donations are welcome if they are clean.
Throughout the area, medical professionals are re-using masks until they are broken or dirty.
