TOMS RIVER – Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity will be hosting a construction volunteer open house on Tuesday, January 9. Stop by the office at 1187 Washington Street behind Skip’s Florist, to learn more about the building and repair programs and how you can get involved.
The American Red Cross will also be present to train anyone interested in installing smoke detectors in homes repaired by Habitat for Humanity.
Staff and volunteers will be at the Habitat offices all day from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. to speak with those interested in volunteering.
