OCEAN COUNTY – County and local law enforcement teamed up in a cooperative drug investigation that led to the arrest of eight suspects and confiscation of drugs and weapons.
Brick and Toms River police departments, along with teams from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office, began an investigation earlier in June that culminated with the arrest of those eight at 160 Greenwood Loop in Brick. Law enforcement had a warrant to search the residence and conducted four vehicle stops.
In addition to the arrested, police confiscated a loaded 380 semi-automatic handgun, 650 wax folds of suspect heroin, quantities of suspect cocaine, MDMA/Molly and marijuana. The weapn investigation is continuing to determine future charges.
Those arrested are:
Jahquel Steven Archer, 23, of 539 West Commodore Drive in Jackson, charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance three counts (heroin, cocaine and Molly), possession with intent to distribute same three counts. He is being lodged in Ocean County Jail.
Dennis Joseph Adametz, 36, of 156 Arnold Drive in Manchester, is being held on traffic warrants out of Toms River, Manchester and Wall. He is being lodged in Ocean County Jail.
Davon Dennis Carrasquillo, 20, of 8 Berkshire Court in Brick, is being held on criminal and traffic warrants out of Toms River and Lacey. He is being lodged in Ocean County Jail.
John Rivera, 36, of 160 Greenwood Loop in Brick, is charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was processed and released.
Janine Stefanelli, 35, of 43 Edinburgh Drive in Toms River, charged with conspiracy to distribute controlled dangerous substance three counts. She was processed and released.
Joseph Spamponato, 43, of 5 Broderick Drive, Jackson, charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance, Title 39 summons CDS in motor vehicle and improper lane change. He was processed and released.
Ryan Murrin, 26, of 63 Atlantic Drive in Brick, charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance (heroin and cocaine), possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession intent to distribute, Title 39 summons CDS in motor vehicle and driving while suspended. He was processed and released.
Jonathan Langrou, 30, of 350 Kettle Creek Road in Toms River, charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance (heroin). He was processed and released.
