OCEAN COUNTY – Although there had been a lot of speculation and some talk from officials behind the scenes, Gov. Phil Murphy officially nominated Bradley Billhimer to the position of Ocean County Prosecutor, upon the consent of the State Senate.
The announcement was made today on the state’s web site. Billhimer is listed as a resident of Bayville and has a law office in Toms River. He had previously run for a spot in the New Jersey General Assembly in the 9th District alongside former South Toms River Councilwoman Carla Kearney.
Billhimer would be replacing Joseph Coronato who announced his last day would be October 8.
