OCEAN COUNTY – If you’re heading north on the Garden State Parkway, you may want to give yourself extra time or find an alternate route.
A morning multiple-vehicle crash around mile-marker 98 has tied up traffic for nearly 10 miles. The State Department of Transportation has confirmed the incident and backup. Crews are currently on the scene clearing the accident.
Ocean County Scanner News obtained photos from the scene which show at least two vehicles with heavy damage.
According to the traffic website 511nj.org, traffic was backed up all the way to exit 83.
At this point, it’s not yet known if there were any injuries.
