OCEAN COUNTY – A Kenilworth man was sentenced to prison for dealing cocaine in Ocean County, police said.
Pedro Reyes-Sevilla, 32, was sentenced to ten years in prison. He had previously pled guilty to Possession of Five Ounces or More of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute.
His arrest had come at the end of a two-week investigation in January conducted by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force, United States Drug Enforcement Administration – High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas-Monmouth/Ocean Post of Duty (HIDTA/MOPOD) Group 5, Union County Prosecutor’s Office Street Crimes Unit, and Lakewood Police Department Street Crimes Unit.
These agencies watched him leave Elizabeth, New Jersey and travel to Lakewood where he was pulled over. Detectives recovered more than one kilogram of cocaine. He is currently lodged in New Jersey State Prison serving a sentence on unrelated charges.
