LAKEWOOD – A local deer was possibly looking for a new hangout earlier today when it found the perfect spot: a Lakewood Township residence.
According to police, the deer ran into the home through the front door and had to be “escorted” out by police. The deer entered the home, explored the first floor, and then found a comfortable spot to sit in the pantry for about 20 minutes before police helped it back outside.
Videos found on The Lakewood Scoop show several officers removing the deer from the house with a rope around its neck.

It was released back into the neighborhood, presumably running off to find another spot to hangout.
