NEW JERSEY – A voluntary recall on Ritz Cracker Sandwiches and other similar products was announced on July 21, due to the potential presence of Salmonella, according to Mondelez Global LLC.
The recall affects the United States, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. The company recalled the products as a precaution, however there have been no illnesses reported associated with the products.
Anyone who may have purchased one of these products should not consume them and should throw them away. For more information, call 1-844-366-1171.
