RED BANK – After examining multiple forecast models of this weekend’s tropical rain system, The Red Bank RiverCenter has decided to reschedule the inaugural Red Bank Oktoberfest to the rain date of Saturday September 30. This will be a rain or shine event, taking place in the plaza between Triumph Brewing and The Two River from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Red Bank River Center Executive Director Bob Zuckerman said, “We intend for this event to be a family-friendly festival for guests of all ages. Unfortunately, this weekend’s weather will not permit such an experience. After consulting with our partners Triumph Brewing, Fresh Markets, The Two River Theater, and Monmouth County Tourism we determined it was best to reschedule to the rain date. Saturday September 30 promises to be a wonderful day of tasty ales, cool sales and oompah scales!
All Red Bank Oktoberfest tickets will be honored on September 30. Ticketholders who cannot attend can request a refund via the original point of sale. Admission is free for non-tasters of all ages. Tickets for Red Bank Oktoberfest are available at redbankoktoberfest.com.
Tasters ages 21+ can enjoy unlimited sampling of beer, wine, and spirits for $45 in advance and $55 the day of the event. Guests who want a smaller taste can purchase the Red Bank Oktoberfest 12 pack for $25 in advance and $35 the day of the event.
Red Bank Oktoberfest features some of Red Bank’s finest restaurants and retailers as well as craft vendors cultivated by Fresh Markets. There will be live music throughout the day. Kids activities include a bounce house, pumpkin painting, and inflatable axe throwing!
21+ ticketholders will enjoy samples from Artis Brewery, Asbury Park Brewery, Asbury Park Distilling Co, Birds Mouth Beer, Bottles By Sickles, Bradley Brew Project, Carton Brewing, Five Dimes Brewery (coming soon to Monmouth County!), Garden State Distillery, Grin Brewing, Long Branch Distillery, Railroad Distillery, Red Tank Brewing, Ross Brewing Co, 3BR Distillery, Triumph Brewing, Twin Lights Brewing, and Wild Air Beerworks.
