WALL – Authorities are currently investigating a burglary that occurred at a home in Wall Township early Monday morning.
The break-in occurred around 4:44 a.m. at a home on Baileys Corner Road. The caller told police that three masked individuals forced entry into the home. They fled the scene in a dark-colored car heading west on Allaire Road, towards State Highway 34.
Police located a blue Nissan Altima with dark tinted windows traveling westbound on Allaire Road. The car then entered the traffic circle at Highway 34 and continued north on the Garden State Parkway.
Officers attempted a traffic stop, but the driver failed to stop and continued northbound on the Parkway. The pursuit ended due to safety concerns, police said.
According to police, the three suspects broke into the home by forcing open a rear window. They stole car keys but were unsuccessful at removing the vehicle from the property before the homeowner contacted police.
The Wall Township Police Detective Bureau is continuing the investigation and working to identify the suspects.
“It is believed that the actor(s) were in the area prior to 4:44 a.m. on January 20, 2025,” police said.
