ASBURY PARK — As we all know by now, Gordon Ramsay is at the Jersey Shore and he has been busy. After rolling into town to film an episode of his new show at a Toms River restaurant, Ramsay fulfilled a Beachwood 12-year old’s wish of meeting her favorite celebrity chef last week.
On Friday, Ramsay’s tour of the shore continued with a stop at Bonney Read restaurant in Asbury Park to visit an old friend. Bonney Read’s owner, James Avery, is a former member of Ramsay’s culinary production team for “Kitchen Nightmares” and served as the sous chef for the Blue Team on “Hell’s Kitchen.”
A post to Bonney Read’s social media read: “Such an honor to have @gordongram come visit with the team before dinner service. We are all over the moon with pride and joy.”

Be on the lookout for shore area restaurants – Caneda’s White Rooster in Toms River and Blend in Manasquan – on Ramsay’s newest TV endeavor “24 Hours to Hell and Back” on Fox.
