On Friday, March 21, 2025, at approximately 3:00 PM, members from the Manchester Township Police Department Patrol Division and Investigations Bureau responded to a report of a stolen vehicle at the Corner Store, located at 2001 Ridgeway Road.

Upon arrival, officers learned that the victim had briefly entered the store, during which time their vehicle was taken without their knowledge. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, officers quickly saturated the area and utilized various investigative strategies to locate the stolen vehicle.

Fortunately, the vehicle was equipped with OnStar technology, which allowed officers to determine its location. The stolen vehicle was found parked on Pine Street, where officers observed it and made contact with a female subject, identified as Denise Dowling, 58, of Manchester, NJ.

Following a swift and thorough investigation, officers placed Ms. Dowling under arrest and charged her with Theft of a Motor Vehicle.
