MANCHESTER – Authorities are on the scene of a serious motor vehicle crash in Manchester that also shut down a major stretch of road.
The Ocean County Sheriff’s Department sent a Nixle short after 6 Sunday night saying Route 70 in the area of Whitesville Road to Route 571/Ridgeway Road would be shut down until further notice.
There was no official word on injuries but police will release more information as soon as it becomes available.
Ocean County Scanner News reported at least one person suffered facial injuries and head trauma.
