Ocean County Man Arrested For Sexual Assault

  MANCHESTER – A Township man has been arrested and charged for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman two years ago, officials said.

  Michael Trimarchi, 55, of Manchester, was charged with Sexual Assault and Criminal Sexual Contact in connection with an incident that occurred in Manchester Township on August 10, 2022.

  On September 6, the victim contacted the Manchester Township Police Department to report that she was sexually assaulted by Trimarchi on August 10, 2022.  Investigation confirmed that Trimarchi did, in fact, sexually assault the victim while she was sitting in a car on the date in question.

  On October 7, detectives searched Trimarchi’s home and he was taken into custody without incident. Trimarchi was transported to the Ocean County Jail, where he remains lodged pending a detention hearing.
