MANCHESTER – Manchester resident Jillian Peslak received the President’s Gold Service Award medal for community service work.
The sophomore at Ocean County Vocational-Technical School’s Marine Academy of Technology and Environmental Science was recently honored by Mayor Kenneth Palmer.
Peslak completed more than 100 hours of community service at the Girl Scout Amity Acres Day Camp as a camp aide.
Peslak received a medal and congratulatory letter from President Donald Trump, presented to her by the mayor.
