Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration At Manchester High School

MANCHESTER – Manchester Township Schools presents the 48th annual Celebration of a Great American, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., featuring motivational and inspirational speaker Rory Wells, Esq. and the talents of the Manchester Township Schools’ Gospel Chorus.

The event is at 7 p.m. on January 13 in the Manchester Township High School Auditorium. Tickets are $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and children ages 5 and older, sold at the door.

This event is sponsored in part by the generous donations from the Manchester Township Education Association and the Manchester PTA.

Rory Wells is a licensed, practicing attorney currently serving in the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office. He is currently assigned to the Community Relations Unit as the Community Relations Officer. He receives numerous requests to speak in the community and has spoken publicly to thousands of people in his professional career including law enforcement, military, churches, non-profits, educational, and citizen groups on a range of topics including generational issues, safe social media, diversity, drugs, faith, and inspiration. Rory was selected as Co-Chair for the anti-drug, DART Coalition of RWJ Barnabas Health Institute for Prevention. He has served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps and is a current member of the Public Relations Society of America.
